Blogging 101

So, here it is a nice, quiet peaceful afternoon in Alabama. A nice 77 degrees outside (although it will be below freezing tonight!) and lo and behold, I sit in front of my trusty CPU setting up a blog…again…for the third or fourth time. If I give any thought to why blogging never works out for me I become very depressed. So I don’t But if I were to contemplate such an issue…

Could it be that I’m just too busy? The life of a chemical analyst just takes too much from me. Or is it that I’m just terribly boring and have nothing to say? That’s possible also. Although my better-half might argue that I never shut-up. A fairly valid point.

With all that said I have decided that I’m just going to write about the things I find interesting — mainly tech talk, but I might throw in some life, love, marriage and kids, strange Southern Culture and about anything else I want to.

So I thought I would start by sharing this nice little graphic I found on Digg by a very funny user that goes by the name of boyshaped box. This is particularly special for any children of the 80’s. Take a sec, raise your Crystal-Clear Pepsi (wait, wasn’t that in the 90’s?), put down the Garbage Pail Kids cards and pay homage to the man…. Rick Astley
